When our customers require XTRAFORM® steel products to complement their sheet and coil needs, Coil Steels can supply a range of the BlueScope manufactured product, XTRAFORM® steel.
XTRAFORM® 400 is a formable hot rolled product. Formable products are designed to suit a series of bending, drawing, and pressing levels, from moderate to severe, with some grades containing guaranteed minimum yield strengths.
XTRAFORM® steel is available in XTRAFORM® 400 and XTRAFORM® 500. Thicknesses vary depending on grade – XTRAFORM® 400 is available in 1.6mm – 6.0mm thickness and XTRAFORM® 500 is available in 2.49mm – 6.0mm thickness.
Available by inquiry, XTRAFORM® steel products are typically used for automotive components, gas cylinders, roll forming applications, press brake forming applications, and general fabrications.
